Juicy and Complex Washed Coffee from Ethiopia

We're excited to bring in our first Ethiopian offering of the year from the Nano Genji Cooperative, the sibling mill of Nano Challa. Over the past 10 years, the members of Nano Challa have become known for producing some of the best coffee in Western Ethiopia. Nano Challa has since become a staple name in specialty coffee. In 2019, after they reached membership and production capacity, they opened the Nano Genji mill a few miles away, outfitted with new equipment and dozens of drying beds to accommodate the growing demand for their outstanding coffee.
The astonishingly high elevation and favorable growing climate contributes to this coffees fruity and complex flavor profile. With the sweet juiciness of peach, floral notes o guava, and lime like acidity, this is a great offering to start our Ethiopian coffee season. We recommend single-cup pour over method to extract the best flavor from this coffee, using a ratio of 1:16.5, with filtered water at 208-210℉, and a 3-3.5 minute brew time.
